About the Session
An engaging and insightful session on “Introduction to Interventional Radiology” was conducted at Ram Krishna Medical College, Bhopal, as a prelude to the upcoming VIRCON 1.0 by the ISVIR MP Chapter.
Dr. Agamya Saxena, Professor, Division of Interventional Radiology, LN Medical College, Bhopal, and Dr. Ankit Shah, Assistant Professor, Division of Interventional Radiology, GMC, Bhopal, introduced the participants to the scope and evolving role of IR and shared valuable practical experiences from various IR procedures.
The session was further enriched by the expertise of Dr. Pankaj Goyal, Interventional Radiologist, IRIS Imaging and IR Centre; Dr. Suvinay Saxena, Assistant Professor, Division of Musculoskeletal Radiology and Interventions, Chirayu Medical College, Bhopal; and Dr. Adnan Khan, Assistant Professor, Department of Interventional Radiology, Chirayu Medical College, Bhopal.
The event was highly interactive and well received, generating enthusiasm for the upcoming VIRCON 1.0 conference to be held in October 2026 at Bhopal.
