Overview

The Department of General Surgery at Ram Krishna Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre provides comprehensive surgical care for emergency, elective and specialty surgical conditions. The department manages abdominal surgery, trauma, wounds, hernia, gall bladder disease, appendicitis, soft tissue conditions, burns, plastic and reconstructive requirements, hair transplant support and urology-related surgical care.

The department has a 200-bedded General Surgery facility, supported by OPD, IPD, emergency services, operation theatre complex, laparoscopy support, endoscopy support, surgical ICU/post-operative monitoring, plastic surgery, burns management and urology services.

Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery

Reconstructive care for soft tissue injuries, scars, wounds, deformities, post-trauma defects and selected cosmetic procedures.

Hair Transplant & Cosmetic Surgery

Hair restoration and cosmetic surgery support with patient counselling, planning, procedure care and follow-up.

Burns Management

Burn wound assessment, dressing, debridement, infection control, fluid management support and reconstructive planning.
