Overview
The Department of Dermatology at Ram Krishna Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre provides comprehensive care for skin, hair, nail, cosmetic, allergic, infective and chronic dermatological conditions. The department focuses on medical dermatology, procedural dermatology, cosmetic care, STD/VD care, leprosy services and patient education.
The department has a 30-bedded Dermatology facility, supported by OPD/IPD services, PUVA / phototherapy unit, laser therapy support, minor OT, dermatoscopy, cryotherapy, cautery, chemical peel support and dermatological procedure facilities.

Dedicated inpatient support for dermatological, allergic, infective, autoimmune and chronic skin conditions requiring admission.
PUVA / Phototherapy Unit
Phototherapy support for selected dermatological conditions such as psoriasis, vitiligo and chronic inflammatory skin diseases as clinically indicated.
Laser Unit
Laser-based dermatology support for selected skin, hair and cosmetic dermatology indications with proper counselling and follow-up.
Minor OT
Minor operation theatre support for skin biopsy, cyst removal, wart removal, mole procedures, nail procedures and other minor dermatological interventions.
Cosmetic Dermatology
Aesthetic services including acne scar care, pigmentation management, chemical peels and skin rejuvenation support.
STD / VD & Leprosy Care
Confidential evaluation, counselling, treatment and follow-up support for sexually transmitted infections and leprosy-related conditions.
